Shipping Costs

All of our products are shipped from Japan with Yamato or Japan Post. We strive to ship our products as safely and cost-effectively as possible.

Shipping costs are determined by the weight and dimensions of the items you order. Our shipping calculator will provide an estimate of the shipping charge at the time an order is placed. Our system is dynamic and will adjust shipping charges as items are added or removed from your cart. Proceed to checkout after changes to your shopping cart in order to see the adjusted changes to the shipping costs. For the majority of purchases, the estimated shipping cost and final shipping cost will be the same

In rare cases, the shipping cost needs to be adjusted after the automatic calculation. If a very large order was placed, which will require multiple boxes to ship safely, we will need to update the shipping charge and then contact you by email for your approval before proceeding to ship your order. In some cases, the shipping cost was calculated too high, and we were able to pack the order in fewer boxes; in this case, we will refund you.

You will receive a shipping confirmation mail with tracking information upon order.

Taxes / VAT

Orders shipped to addresses outside of Japan are not charged the Japanese 10% VAT (Value Added Tax).

Depending on your country’s laws and regulations, your package may be subject to local import duties or VAT upon arrival at your local port of entry. The customer is responsible for the payment of such charges, which are usually collected upon delivery. We can not provide estimates for these charges, as they vary from country to country and are determined by the customs authorities. We hope you understand that these additional fees are out of our control and ask you to check the local requirements before placing an order with us.
