Wild Toride Tea Cup

Wild Toride Clay Sencha Tea Cup
These cups are made from clay found at the Toride Campus of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts in Toride, Ibaraki, which is harvested and processed by hand to produce beautiful, high-temperature workable clay.
The glaze used on this piece is made from Inada stone powder, a by-product of a stone cutter in Ibaraki Prefecture, making this tea bowl 100% local and sustainable.
These are made as tea cups for Sencha (Green Tea) but can be used for dips or appetizers.
